Project preparation / For luxury home builders

A clear brief.
A better starting point.

Share the design, the setting, and what you need the visuals to communicate. We’ll review your available files and define the production scope before work begins.

01 / Plans & available files

Start with
the architecture.

Current, coordinated drawings help us understand the residence. A 3D model is useful if one is available; its suitability is reviewed before we confirm the work.

Architectural drawings

Share dimensioned floor plans, exterior elevations, roof information, and relevant building sections. Include ceiling heights and interior elevations for the spaces you want to feature.

Available source files

PDF drawing sets and CAD files such as DWG or DXF are useful for review. If you have a 3D model, include its original format and software version. We confirm compatibility or any required export after examining it.

One current design set

Label the drawing revision and units, and identify which plans are approved and which selections are still open. Send referenced files and linked assets with the model when available.

02 / Site, terrain & location

The home.
In its setting.

Tell us whether the visuals should represent a specific property or a conceptual setting. That choice affects the landscape, surroundings, views, and level of site detail.

Location & orientation

Share the city and state, and a street address or map link when the actual site should be represented. Indicate north, the proposed house placement, and the views or outdoor features you want to emphasize.

Terrain & site information

Include a site plan or survey if available, with lot boundaries, contours or spot elevations, driveway access, grading information, and the building footprint. For sloped or waterfront lots, identify the site features that must appear in the presentation.

Landscape & surroundings

Share site photos, landscape plans, planting references, neighboring context, and any pool, dock, retaining wall, or outdoor living design. Tell us which elements are existing and which are proposed.

Accuracy agreed in advance

If a survey or detailed landscape design is unavailable, we can discuss an illustrative setting. Assumptions about terrain and surroundings are documented and approved; visual references alone do not establish surveyed site geometry.

03 / Materials & design references

The choices that
define the home.

Organize selections by elevation, room, or surface. Make it clear which references define the design and which are inspiration for mood or composition.

Exterior specifications

Include cladding, stone or brick, roof finishes, windows, doors, trim, paving, and exterior lighting. Manufacturer names, product references, colors, and photos help explain the intended finish.

Interior selections

Share flooring, cabinetry, countertops, wall finishes, hardware, plumbing fixtures, and lighting for the agreed rooms. Include furniture schedules or reference links where furnishings are part of the presentation.

Custom details & atmosphere

Identify bespoke millwork, unique furniture, wine rooms, specialty fixtures, or other elements requiring specific modeling. Share a few visual references for lighting, time of day, styling, and atmosphere.

Selections still in progress

Highlight unresolved materials rather than mixing them with approved finishes. We agree on any temporary assumptions before production and review later design changes against the original scope.

04 / Deliverables & scope

Agree on what
the story includes.

The proposal connects your design information to a defined set of visuals, review milestones, and delivery requirements.

The presentation

Spaces, views & formats

List the exterior views and interior rooms to include. For a film, specify the intended length and key spaces; for an interactive experience, describe the viewing hardware and navigation you need.

Tell us where the assets will be used: project website, buyer meetings, printed presentations, or social channels. We agree on image sizes, aspect ratios, and delivery formats in the proposal.

The collaboration

Reviews & design changes

Nominate one person to consolidate feedback from the builder and design team. The Luxury Launch Package includes two consolidated revision rounds within the agreed design and production scope.

Additional rooms, new camera views, custom modeling, extra edits, or changes to approved architecture and finishes are reviewed and quoted before expanding the work.

The schedule

Inputs & milestones

Share your target launch or presentation date. We confirm availability and the review schedule once the deliverables and required input materials are agreed.

The Launch Package’s initial target is 15 business days after approval of all required materials. Incomplete inputs, delayed feedback, or scope changes may affect the agreed schedule.

Keep the files easy to review
  1. Group files into Architecture, Site, Materials, and References.
  2. Identify the current revision and note any open design decisions.
  3. Use a shareable folder link and check its access settings.
  4. Separate requirements from inspiration and flag custom elements.

We review the brief, identify missing inputs, and prepare a proposal defining the scope, investment, and next steps.
